Andy completed his degree in Creative Digital Media in 2010 and has been a technician in the Digital Arts Centre ever since. As well as offering technical support to staff and students, Andy is a friendly, approachable and problem-solving member of the team.
His areas of interest are all things digital and analogue; photography, sound recording, film and graphic design. In his spare time he builds websites using WordPress. Andy practices Buddhist ethics, and used to play in a band called “Omnia Opera” as a vocalist and bass player. Andy lives with his artist wife and two cats.
Teaching Interests
- As a technician Andy imparts his knowledge and skill set to students through demonstration, tutorials and 1:1s. Andy can help students learn how to use specialist equipment or technical spaces and facilities. Andy primarily supports Film, Journalism, Animation and Screenwriting courses.
