Melanie said she never thought she was very academic so was surprised to get top marks in her degree.
“I am now going to be studying for a PGCE as I want to become a Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator in a school,” she said. “I may return to studies in a few years' time to do my SENCo National Award and Research to achieve master's level.
Melanie said she chose to study at ²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØÖ· because the course gave her the opportunity to gain a broader perspective on the education landscape.
“²ÝÁñÉçÇøµØÖ· gave me an opportunity to study an area of interest and one that will be a big element of teaching for the next few years anyway because of Covid-19 and the impact it has had on children’s mental health and wellbeing,” she said.
